Reddit generates link preview cards when users submit URLs as link posts. The preview includes a title, thumbnail image, and domain attribution pulled from your page’s Open Graph meta tags. Reddit delegates much of its metadata fetching to Embedly, a third-party service it acquired, making it unique among social platforms.
