Pinterest reads Open Graph meta tags when someone saves a URL as a Pin, generating a rich preview with image, title, and description. Beyond standard OG tags, Pinterest supports Rich Pins, enhanced Pins that automatically sync metadata like article headlines, product prices, and recipe ingredients directly from your website’s structured data.
